As a practicing therapist, Iris provides a safe and supportive space where you work together towards identifying, setting, and achieving personal goals. She emphasizes that therapy is a team effort and guides you to those unknown answers that are already there. You will move towards emotional and physical well-being, mindfulness, and wholeness by co-creating a therapeutic process that enhances your self-esteem, potential and growth. Together, we will explore possibilities and new direction, thereby releasing stress, inner conflicts, self-defeating cognitions, and dysfunctional relationships. Embracing change may feel hard and scary, however, it can lead to improvements in self-esteem, relationships, sense of self, inner happiness, and healing.
Iris has always had an affinity towards supervising the incoming graduate Social Workers. The advancement of clinical practice lies on the Social Workers who have been independently licensed and have done the direct practice work to be agents of change. Together, you will work on the importance of guiding, self-healing, setting boundaries and growth in your own professional career development as a therapist.
In her free time and to help release her own stress and anxiety, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She feels it’s important to have her own time to explore her creativity by sewing, dancing, playing softball and engaging in different social activities.
