Dominique Lewis

Dominique is a Maryland native currently enrolled in the Advanced Standing Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Salisbury University. After graduating in May with her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) from Salisbury University, Dominique began working as a Supports Planner, where she provides person-centered services to elderly and disabled individuals. In this role, she assists clients in maintaining independence, enhancing quality of life and accessing the resources they need to thrive.

Dominique is passionate about fostering safe and supportive environments where

clients feel empowered to overcome challenges, build resilience, achieve their goals,

and enhance their overall quality of life. Dominique is deeply committed to making a

meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing challenges. Her passion for

empowering clients stems from her own lived experiences and academic journey, which have shaped her understanding of the importance of empathy, advocacy, and resilience in addressing societal inequalities. With a passion for creating safe and supportive environments, she strives to help clients overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals.

Her previous internship experiences with Prince George’s County Department of Social Services strengthened her skills in active listening, cultural humility, and building trust with diverse populations. Additionally, she previously served as a Clinical Case Manager intern with LTS, where she supported clients in navigating complex social service systems and connecting them to resources. Dominique is excited to return to LTS as an Associate Counselor, where she can further apply her clinical training and continue providing compassionate, client-centered care.

Dominique’s work ethic, adaptability, and empathetic nature make her well-suited for

clinical practice. She aspires to become a licensed clinical social worker who provides high-quality care, uplifts clients, and fosters positive, lasting change in their lives.
