Paige Steele
Therapist
Paige uses a client-centered approach embedded in empowerment for individuals to live authentically. She is committed to cultivating emotional safety through a strong therapeutic alliance. Through a collaborative approach, Paige works alongside individuals to deepen insight and self-awareness to confidently cope with life stressors. Paige honors a fundamental principle and belief that therapy is a vulnerable space to invest in oneself. She values working with adults and couples addressing a range of challenges, including self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, mood disorders, identity, and loss. While Paige uses an eclectic approach prioritizing an individual's unique needs, her therapeutic orientation incorporates attachment, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) with other cognitive therapies, and family systems.
Paige’s background includes working in inpatient and outpatient community-based mental health settings. She understands the barriers and systemic challenges in mental healthcare that may inform an individual’s lived experiences. Therefore, she uses a trauma-informed lens, combining compassion and empathy to reduce stigmatization, and further the importance of identity, cultural context, and autonomy in therapy.
Education: Paige received her M.S. in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida.
