Paige Steele

Associate Counselor

Paige is committed to supporting individuals to feel empowered, and to live authentically. She prioritizes a foundation of a safe therapeutic environment and a strong therapeutic alliance whereby individuals build insight and self-awareness to confidently cope with life stressors. Paige believes in meeting clients where they are, encouraging clients in their goals, and developing autonomy within treatment. Her approach is client-centered with a focus on family systems utilizing a trauma-informed lens. She also incorporates components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her practice.

Paige is currently a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Professional Counseling program at Loyola University Maryland. She obtained her bachelor's in psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of South Florida. Her background includes working with adults in an inpatient psychiatric unit, conducting psychotherapy groups for children and transitional youth, case management, and behavioral services. In addition, Paige has a passion for waging gaps within mental health treatment, which she attributes to her experience as a research assistant on a racial discrimination study at Moffitt Cancer Center. Paige has since been inspired to focalize counseling around inclusivity, empowerment, and accessibility.
