Samuel Ngum

 Samuel is a second-year graduate student in the counseling psychology program at Towson University. Having been raised in an under resourced community in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Samuel has personally experienced and witnessed the challenges faced by marginalized communities throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. He further developed his understanding of the broader systems of oppression that uphold structural inequality during his time at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
